We are particularly grateful to God and to you because, out of the nearly two hundred cases operated on, no casualty, or serious complication was recorded. It is even more astonishing to note that none of the patients received blood transfusion! Ninety eight per cent of the patients were discharged within the first four days.

As I write, all the patients have since returned home with gratitude to the Almighty God and to ARSPON, even with smiles and new songs in their mouths.

This department is in charge of the general running and maintaining of the hospital. This department is headed by the hospital Administrator, Rev. Chukwuemeka Onuoha. Rev. Onuoha who is from Umuahia, has been with the hospital since October 2015, and is a reverend with the Methodist Church Nigeria. He over sees the overall administration of the hospital.

Our patients come from all over Item, and neighboring villages like Alayi, Nkporo, Igbere, etc. The is that it doesn’t really here matter where you are from, at Chijioke hospital, your health is our priority. The environment is serene, healthy, and peaceful, ensuring our patients are relaxed, and rest well as they receive treatment. A relaxed body heals faster. .

At Chijioke hospital, safe and healthy deliveries are the norm. Our Matron, Mrs. Eze Precious. O, is trained mid-wife, as well as being a registered nurse. Our nurses are also good at taking care of either the pregnant or nursing mothers. We have an average of 4 expectant mothers a month, and 4 safe deliveries a month.
