The hospital, a half rectangular edifice occupies two and half plots of land. It has a well maintained open grassland, measuring about one and half plots.
Located along the only major road linking the village to Umuahia the Abia State capital and the neighboring Ebonyi State, a visitors’ attention is particularly drawn to the hospital by the wide smooth greenery of its frontage and the sliding topography of the airy grassland.
At the right edge of the greenery we have two poles concrete drive-way that ushers one into the hospitals premises.
Powered by PHCN, and a brand new 16KVA generator, the hospital boats of an initial 12 wards with the modern conveniences. Apart from two well tiled general toilets and bathrooms, special officers like Doctors’ offices, Matron/Staff Nurses offices, nurses common office, injection rooms and the theatre have their own built-in toilets.
Basic hospital and ante-natal equipment for primary examination and child delivery have also been provided.
Also provided are amenities for the wards, like beds, bedding, curtains, netting, ceiling fans, theatre facilities and so on.
