Mr. Ndukwe Michael Osogho- Ajala an indigene of Apuanu, Item- a community located about 40 km North-East of Umuahia, the Abia State Capital was born on March, 16, 1964 at Jos, plateau State, Nigeria. His parents Chief and Mrs. Osogho Ajala are devout Christians and in nurturing their children imbued them with the tenets of the Christian faith. These Christian ideals inculcated in Ndukwe at an early stage – the virtue of industry, perseverance, hardwork, honesty, integrity and kindness. And these have remained a way of life for him and are evidenced in all his activities.

Ndukwe Osogho-Ajala’s intellectual ability manifested quite early in life - making a grade one in his West African School Certificate Examination at the Wilcox Memorial Comprehensive Secondary School, Aba. At the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), He graduated with upper second – class honour in Industrial Chemistry.While at FUTO,he won several academic prizes/awards such as:

1. 1. FUTO Scholar(Industrial Chemistry – (1986)
2. 2. Best Graduating Student, Industrial Chemistry (1987)

Ndukwe is also an Alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School, Victoria Island, Lagos.
